Please be advised that Profitroom GmbH is the Personal Data Administrator (PDA) with its registered headquarters in Berlin (10785), Germany, at Potsdamer Platz 10 Haus 2, email: contact@profitroom.com. You can contact our personal data protection inspector, Cezary Sadowski, at gdpr@profitroom.com

Personal data will be processed for registration purposes as well as enabling the registered user to use the platform’s functions based on their consent, in accordance with art. 6 clause 1 point a GDPR.

We will process your personal data for marketing purposes, based on the legal interest of the administrator, in accordance with art. 6 clause 1 point f GDPR.

We will use “Custom Audiences” technology, which you will be able to disable in the settings for displayed ads under the following address: https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen.

We will process your personal data until you withdraw your consent, which you may revoke at any time. Consent withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of the processing that has been carried out prior to the withdrawal of said consent.

Your personal data may be disclosed to:
  • Entities authorized to obtain them by law in connection with pending proceedings
  • Companies providing services, particularly those in the field of: personal data protection, entities providing audit services, IT services, computer software, training, financial, insurance, equipment services
  • Other entities that process personal data for the administrator based on relevant contracts
The administrator may use automated decision-making, including profiling, for marketing purposes and for adjusting the offer.

While in possession of information regarding a given individual there is a need to process it in a manner different than indicated above, we are obliged to inform the individual when and for what purpose we intend to process this data.

  • Platform - Profitroom Know-How online platform, run by Profitroom, located at https://www.english.knowhow.profitroom.com
  • User - person registered on the Platform and able to access it using an account
  • Account - User’s account created through the registration process on the Platform for a single, pre-determined person and intended for use only by this person
  • Training - educational materials available on the Platform
  • Services - all services provided by Profitroom on the Platform

Access and Use of the Platform

  1. To use the Platform you require a device connected to the internet and equipped with a web browser: firefox or chrome is required. Profitroom cannot guarantee that the Platform will work properly on all operating systems, device types and browsers.
  2. Providing information in the registration form is completely voluntary. Registration on the Platform is free. By registering on the Platform, the User confirms that they have read and familiarized themselves with the Regulations and Privacy Policy and that they agree to all their provisions. Personal data obtained by Profitroom during the registration process is covered by the personal data protection policy. Our Privacy Policy provides more information on this topic.
  3. All materials found on the Platform are protected on the basis of the Copyright and Related Rights Act (Journal of Laws of 1994 No. 24 item 83 as amended).
  4. By accepting the regulations, the User consents receiving technical messages.
  5. By registering, the User may agree to receive from Profitroom information about news, events and promotions to the email address the User provided.

Obligations and the Rights of the User

  1. The User has cannot modify, reproduce, distribute or adapt in any form the Services and Training modules published on the Platform.
  2. It is the User’s responsibility to use anti-virus software and configuring any devices and software they may use to gain full access to any service provided by Profitroom.
  3. In order to delete the personal data provided in the registration form, the User should send a delete request to Profitroom, which will trigger a deletion procedure of the account as per point 4 below.
  4. The User has the right to delete their Account at any time. To do this, the User should send an account deletion request to support@profitroom.com. Deleting an Account is irreversible and will result in the entire content of the Account being removed along with the history of learning progression and loss of access to the Account.

Profitroom’s Responsibility

  1. Profitroom cannot guarantee that the Platform, Training or Services will always be available and free of any issues or errors. During periods when the system is being updated, a scheduled or unplanned maintenance is taking place or web traffic is increased, access to the Platform may be slower than usual, restricted or temporarily interrupted.
  2. Profitroom has the right to change and update the content and functionality of the Platform. It also has the right to limit, withdraw or suspend the availability of all or part of the Platform, Training or Services and has the right to cease providing the services, block and delete a User’s Account if the User violates any Regulations
